Originating from her academic roots at the University of Abuja in 1992, she has soared to become a distinguished Nigerian American psychiatrist with board certifications in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, her journey from the University of Illinois to Assistant Clinical Professor and beyond is truly inspirational.

Celebrated with prestigious awards and over 10 scientific publications, Dr. Adelayo leads with excellence at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital and champions medical education.

When she’s not pioneering in psychiatry, she’s exploring the world or hiking trails, proving her passion knows no bounds. Here’s to an extraordinary doctor and adventurer!
