Press Release: Historical Accomplishment by Ambassador Amina Smaila, Ph.D., Consul General of Nigeria: There will be a “Nigerian Day”, in Georgia, on March 21st, 2024, at the Georgia Capitol

(ATLANTA, GA.) MARCH 16, 2024. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, THERE WILL BE A “NIGERIANS DAY” IN GEORGIA, WHICH WILL BE CELEBRATED AT THE GEORGIA CAPITOL ON MARCH 21ST, AT 10 A.M. THIS IS POSSIBLE DUE TO AMBASSADOR SMAILA EFFORTS.

The World Chamber of Commerce supports the WCC Advisory Board Member, Ambassador Smaila for her relentless had work for the Nigerian community and Georgia. Ambassador Smaila has many accolades as Consul General of Nigeria in Georgia, such as creating awareness about Nigeria, including “Nollywood”, the third largest film industry in the world, in terms of output.

The Consul General of Nigeria, Ambassador Smaila’s tenure is coming to an end in Georgia. She will be truly missed for her incredible positive and endless energy to create meaningful ties of understanding between Georgia and Nigeria.

The World Chamber of Commerce wishes Ambassador Smaila much success in her future endeavors. There will be a farewell Event in honor of Ambassador Smaila, on March 17th, 2024, in Georgia.
