Terms and Conditions for the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Additionally, when using specific services, you will be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Service Description

The Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, offers document processing services for Nigerian passports, visas, National Identification Number (NIN) registrations, Bank Verification Number (BVN) registrations, and related services. We facilitate the preparation, submission, and tracking of your applications with the appropriate government entities.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the service’s registration form.
  • Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content, including laws regulating the export of data to Nigeria or your country of residence.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions and explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

5. Modifications to Service

The Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part of it) with or without notice. You agree that the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content included on the site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the site, is the property of the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, or its suppliers and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

7. Refund Policy

  • Services Not Fully Fulfilled: Refunds are available for fees paid for services that are not 100% fulfilled. If a service is partially completed or does not meet the agreed-upon requirements, clients may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the extent of the service provided.
  • Services Fully Fulfilled: Fees for services that are 100% fulfilled are not eligible for refunds. This includes any fees that are directly paid to the Nigeria Immigration Service as part of the processing requirements.
  • Process for Requesting Refunds: To request a refund, clients must submit a claim via email or telephone within 30 days of service initiation. The claim should include a detailed explanation of the issue and any supporting documentation. Refund claims will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

You expressly understand and agree that your use of the service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

You expressly understand and agree that the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, has been advised of the possibility of such damages).

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of the terms and by maintaining a visible notification on our site.

12. Parking Information

The Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, does not have any parking space for applicants nor does it operate any parking service. Applicants visiting the Consulate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are advised to travel via rideshare services (such as Uber or Lyft) or public transportation. Please note that parking operated on adjacent premises does not belong to the Consulate. Third-party vendors operate these parking facilities and charge a $20 fee for parking.
