How to Make Payment

  1. After document has been printed, you will be taken back to the application or go to https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/passportPaymentStatus to enter application ID and Reference number on your application form.
  2. You can now continue to payment by selecting proceed to checkout or start another application
  3. On the cart items page, click proceed to online payment
  4. On the next page, read all instructions, check the required box, and select relevant means of payment
  5. You can pay online by Money Order, Point of Sale (POS) or Debit card.
Select a method of payment (Money Order, Point of Sale (POS), Visa or American Express Debit card) and follow relevant steps. Note: You may choose to exit the application to make payment at a later stage. To return, go to www.innovate1.com and sign in.
  1. If you choose to pay with a money order, make sure to link or associate your money order number with your application, before you submit your payment details. You can do this by writing the serial number on the money order.
  2. Please provide the serial number with other requested information.
  3. After you click the proceed button at the bottom of the page
  4. A confirmation email will be sent stating that your order number and tracking number is associated with a money order serial number. This email does not mean that your application is paid yet.
  5. Your money order should be made payable to Innovate 1 Service/FGN
  6. After you have made your payment, please print your receipt and your acknowledgement slip will be sent to your email once the money order is received and processed.

    • Click on https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/changeDetails/cid/1Ar1Il1L to begin payment for Administrative Charge for Correction of Data
    • Select Passport Type (Only Standard e-Passport is available), 
    • Select Processing Country (preselected as Nigeria), select Change Type as “Change of Data Request/Data Change”, then enter your Passport Number that has the incorrect data.
    • Tick the “I am paying for Processing Admin Form” box, then click on the “Start Application” at the bottom of the page to start filling of the form. 
    • You can now start filling out the form. Please ensure that the form is filled out with the new data you wish to have on the new Passport.
    • After filling out the form click on “Submit Application” button at the bottom of the page.
    • Review the information and select payment option, you can then proceed to make payment.
    • Note that the payment is to be in Naira.
    • After successful payment, you will receive and email. Please note your application ID and Reference Number, as well as the Passcode.
    • You can then use the passcode to print the payment slip via this link https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/ChangeRequestStatus
